Localrydes Website Legal Terms

• Users must create an account to buy or sell goods or services on the platform.
• Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their account credentials and any activity that occurs under their account.
• Localrydes reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Localrydes provides a space for transportation companies and ride bookers to connect, but it does not always directly participate in transactions.

Even though Localrydes does the due diligence and making sure quality and trustworthiness of a transportation company before boarding, Localrydes is not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or accuracy of the products or services listed by the transportation provider.

• The platform may charge transport providers fees for listing vehicles or completing sales.
• Payment for services is processed through the platform's secure payment system, which may include third-party providers.
• Clients must pay the total cost (including taxes) as listed at the checkout.

• Transport providers must provide accurate and up-to-date information about their vehicles and services.
• Transport providers must not list vehicles or services that are illegal, stolen, or counterfeit.
• Transport providers must not list vehicles or services that violate the rights of others.

• Ride bookers must ensure that they understand the terms of a listed vehicles before making a reservation.
• Ride bookers are responsible for payment and are subject to the seller's return and refund policies.

• Localrydes may offer tools for users to resolve disputes but is not liable for the outcome.
• In the event of a dispute, users should attempt to resolve the matter directly.

• Transport providers may not engage in any illegal activities, including listing illegal vehicles.
• Transport providers may not attempt to manipulate the <em>Localrydes - Platform</em>, such as through false reviews or misleading listings.

• Localrydes is not liable for any damages or losses arising from the use of the marketplace, including transactions between users.
• The marketplace is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

• Users can terminate their account at any time.
• Localrydes may suspend or terminate user accounts for violating these terms or engaging in prohibited activities.

• Localrydes reserves the right to modify these terms at any time.
• Users will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of the platform implies acceptance of the new terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of Vienna, Austria.

Bookings made with Localrydes

In the event of the client’s preference to make the reservation with Localrydes instead of the direct provider, an advance payment of 70% of the total reservation amount is required.

The remaining balance must be paid prior to the completion of the service. Any additional services rendered will be charged at the end of the service.

Bookings made directly with the Provider

The provider terms of payment will be shared with the clients.

The cancellation policy varies according to the provider’s own terms. Localrydes, as a marketplace, ensures that the provider’s terms are shared with the clients.

The client is responsible for the information they are sharing for a booking. If any error happens due to wrong information provided by the client, the client is the sole responsible for it.

• Should any individual provisions of these terms be deemed invalid, incomplete, or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions will not be affected.
• The parties agree to replace any invalid provision with a valid one that closely reflects the original intent and economic purpose of the invalid provision.
• Any amendments or additions to these terms must be confirmed in writing, such as by email. This requirement for written confirmation also applies to any modifications of the written form requirement itself.
• By continuing to use Localryde’s services after any modifications, the customer implicitly agrees to the updated terms. Any contractual conditions proposed by the customer that conflict with these terms shall not form part of the contract unless explicitly accepted in writing by Localrydes.

• Austrian law governs all service contracts concluded in Austria.
• The courts of Vienna shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from the contract.
