How to Set Up and Optimize Your Pricing on Localrydes?

How to Upload Your Rates on Localrydes Platform?

Setting up your pricing on Localrydes is crucial to maintaining competitiveness, profitability, and service excellence. Follow this structured approach to ensure your rates are correctly configured:

1. Pricing Components

Hourly Rate:
Minimum Rate
This is the minimum charge, regardless of booking duration. For example, if your minimum rate is €110 and your hourly rate is €50, a client booking for one hour will still be charged €110 instead of €50.

Per Hour Rate
This is calculated based on the number of hours booked, with each hour including a set distance.
  • You must define the minimum rate, per hour rate, included km per hour, and additional km rate.
  • The per km rate is also used for transfer pricing.

Example:

If your hourly rate is €50, with 20 km included per hour and an extra km rate of €1, a client exceeding the 20 km limit by 5 km will be charged:

  • €50 + (5 km × €1) = €55

Transfer Pricing:

Transfers cover both airport-to-city and city-to-city travel.

Base Rate

The base fare includes an initial km allowance and applies before the per km rate.

Example:

If your base rate is €50 and the per km rate is €1, it will display €50 for up to 15 km. Beyond that, the per km rate applies.

  • For a 20 km trip, the client will pay: €50 + (5 km × €1) = €55

City-to-City Transfers

These are fixed rates between specific cities and override the per km rate.

By uploading your rates correctly on Localrydes, you can provide transparent pricing to clients while maximizing your revenue.
